Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Foxborough – Carol M. (Staula) Nagobads, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by the comfort of her loving family on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Maples Rehab & Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Negrino) Staula.
Carol was born on July 29, 1941 in Boston and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University while working full time and raising four children. She was employed by the Foxboro Company for over twenty years.
Carol volunteered for the CCD programs in Foxborough, Plainville and Sharon. She also volunteered at the Hillside Adult Day Care Center in Attleboro. She was such a loving and kind person and was always first in line when it came to helping others. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say to everyone.
Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother who most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved all animals, especially her cat "Salem". We will all miss her dearly, including her grand-animals, Champ, Maisey & Fred.
Beloved mother of Lauren Nagobads of Sharon, Karen and her husband Scott MacMaster of Foxborough, Eric Nagobads of Foxborough and Kristen Nagobads of Foxborough. Devoted grandmother of Meaghan and Briana MacMaster, Ryan Nagobads and the late Brandon Scott MacMaster. Sister of the late Richard Staula. She also leaves behind her former husband and good friend George Nagobads of Sharon, and her dearest cousins Charles Staula and Arlene Butler of Foxborough.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 13 from 4 to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
