Mark E. Kasianowicz, 65 of Foxborough, passed away at home on September 3, 2017 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Arlene M. (Kacevich) Kasianowicz, with whom he was married to for more than 38 years.
He was born in Boston on June 16, 1952, he was the son of the late Edmund & Lillian (Cidlevich) Kasianowicz. Mark was a graduate with a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art. He spent his career as the official Massachusetts State House Photographer, and recently retired after 30 years of service with the State. Mark married Arlene on May 19, 1979 at St Casimir’s Church in Worcester. He loved cars, gardening, and swimming, but most especially spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Arlene, Mark is survived by two children, Roxanne Nichols and her husband Ian of Foxborough, and Andrew Kasianowicz and his wife Shalyn Smith of North Attleboro. He has one grandson, Timothy Nichols, a sister, Susan Varkas and her husband Michael of Campton, NH, as well as 2 nieces and 2 nephews, and 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 8th from 5-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, in Foxborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9th at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Foxborough.
