Janet Damiani

Loving and Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Foxborough – Janet (Klahn) Damiani, age 76, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, July 10, 2017. She was the daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Gilpin) Klahn.

Janet was born on July 26, 1940 in Mount Kisco, NY. She lived in Foxborough for 37 years and spent many years teaching in the town’s school system. She married the love of her life Alfred Damiani on September 27, 1986. Janet enjoyed gardening, music, baking, and was an avid reader and puzzler. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of Alfred A. Damiani. Loving mother of her nine children, Jennifer Allen and her husband Kris of CT, Christine Jill Clark-Mello and her husband Brian Mello of ME, Elizabeth Clark and her wife Kate Targett of MA, Deborah Brain and her husband Jeffrey of NY, Val Zaverucha of MA, John Damiani of OH, Steve Damiani and his wife Hilda of TX, Debra Reeve and her husband David of MA, and Alfred Damiani and his wife Betty of TX. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren, and devoted sister of John Klahn of FL, Paul Klahn of CA, and Charles Klahn of NY.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, July 16 from 1 to 4 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 116 South Street, Foxborough at 11 AM on Monday. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
