Frank "Don" F. Donaldson Jr.

October 07, 1944 - August 22, 2017

Loving and Devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather

Foxborough – Frank “Don” F. Donaldson, Jr., passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton with his loving wife by his side. He was the son of the late Frank F. and Beverly (Dixon) Donaldson.

Don was born on October 7, 1944 in Baltimore, MD. He was a graduate of the McDonogh School in MD, Class of 1962 and the University of Baltimore, Class of 1966. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He married his wife Barbara (Lehane) Donaldson on August 28, 1988 in Foxborough. He was employed as General Manager for the Standard Management Corporation of Norwood for twenty five years, retiring in 2001. Don was a resident of Foxborough for over forty five years.

Don was a member of the Franklin Country Club and the Massachusetts Realtors Association. He was an avid golfer – achieving three holes in one in his life time. He loved sports including the New England Patriots and enjoyed traveling.

Loving husband of Barbara (Lehane) Donaldson. Devoted father of Traci Melvin of Salisbury, MD and Rick and his wife Cathy Donaldson of Bellingham. Grandfather of Kati and Madison. Brother of Peter and his wife Susanne Donaldson of OH and brother in law of Ann and brother of the late George Donaldson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.



Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, August 28 from 4 to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough.  A Funeral Service will begin at 9 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass at St. Mark’s Church, 116 South Street, Foxborough.
