Beloved Mother , Grandmother and Great Grandmother
Barbara J. (Pierce) Partridge, formerly of Foxboro, Norwood, and Laconia, New Hampshire, passed peacefully at her daughter’s home in Franklin on June 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Partridge, Sr. with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2008.
Born in Boston on April 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Stanley B. and Grace V. (Sword) Pierce. Barbara was a graduate of Norwood High School, class of 1955. She worked many years in the office of Dr.Arthur Giuliano in Foxboro. She was an avid reader, and loved to knit and crochet with the knitting group at Bethany Congregational Church, where she was a member. She was very active in her church communities in Foxboro and New Hampshire. Barbara lived for her family and loved spending time with family and friends, many happy years were spent together on the lake in New Hampshire.
Barbara is survived by her children, Robert Partridge, Jr. and his wife Monika of Palm Harbor, Florida, Bradford Partridge and his wife Susan of West Barnstable, and Pamela Fothergill and her husband Walter of Franklin, four grandchildren, Jeffrey Partridge and his wife Emily, Derek Partridge and his wife Lauren, Jessica Creiglow and her husband Jeremiah, and Sean Fothergill, and her great granddaughter, Delaney Grace Partridge. She was the sister of the late Elaine Crompton.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. at Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill Street, Foxboro. Burial will be private.
