Albert E. Horsman, Jr

July 18, 1935 - October 17, 2017

Retired Arlington Firefighter

Albert Edward Horsman, Jr., age 82, passed away peacefully at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham.  He was the son of the late Albert and Frances (Bagley) Horsman.

Albert was born in Boston on July 18, 1935.  He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Navy.  He and his wife Mary were married in Arlington on February 7, 1986.  He has been a resident of Foxborough for the past twenty two years. 

Albert was a retired Lieutenant from the Arlington Fire Department, after twenty six years of service, retiring in 1993.  He was a graduate of Middlesex College in Lexington where he earned a degree in Firefighting Science.  He enjoyed spending winters on Ft. Myers Beach.  He was an avid camper and resided at Normandy Farms Campground in Foxborough.  He was a member of horseshoe leagues in both MA and FL.  He loved country music and photography.  He was also a member of the VFW in Arlington and Ft. Myers. 

Beloved husband of Mary Villandry-Horsman.  Loving father of Susan Slater of Zephyrhills, FL, Brenda Michienzi of Methuen, Lori Horsman of New Platz, NY and Jennifer Villandry of Foxborough.  Brother of Dale Horsman, Sr. of Pembroke, June DeNafio of Weymouth and the late Sarah Horsman and Marcia Aufiero.  Also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Information
