Foxboro-Joalleen (Delap) Guenard, age 100, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Bea (LaMay) Delap.
Joalleen was born in Bryant, South Dakota on December 4, 1916. She and her husband Lionel were married at Bethany Congregational Church in Foxboro on July 26, 1935. She has been a Foxboro resident for over 55 years.
Joalleen was a calibrator for the former Foxboro Company until her retirement in 1958. She was a member of the O. E. S. Keystone Chapter in Foxboro and the Foxboro Garden Club. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Beloved wife of the late Lionel Guenard. Loving mother of Lionel Guenard and his wife Judy of Foxboro and Florida and David Guenard and his wife Treva of Harwich and Florida. Sister of Loranne Lindsey of Greenfield, Indiana. Also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild due in April.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. Services are under the care of the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home in Foxboro.
